Meet Debz Wright
Qualifications
- Harper Adams University: MSc in Plant Pathology
- Askham Bryan College: BSc (Hons) in Applied Horticulture.
- University of York: BSc (Hons) Archeology
Notably, when Debz graduated from Harper Adams in 2016 she was the first plant pathologist to graduate from a UK university after the removal of Plant Pathology from the university curriculum in the 1980s.

- 2024-present: Founder, GreenGuard Crop Assessments, Dunoon (Scotland)
- 2019-2023: Field Experimentation Technician at Rothamsted Research (Hertfordshire). Worked at this world-class facility on a wide variety of agricultural projects and research, with academics and students, across disciplines including cereals, soil science, entomology and plant pathology.

Other interests
In 2024 Debz moved with her partner to the lovely town of Dunoon in the spectacular natural environment of Scotland's west coast. She is passionate about sustainable food production and the environment, is a keen nature lover. Debz has interests in creating balanced ecosystems, believes that by working with our natural environment we can produce stronger healthier plants
Debz also participates actively in community activities, including in the local network for women in business.
